Kaya Dierks

Kaya Dierks is a senior from English from San Francisco, CA. Her favorite part about working at the Writing Center is getting to reach every client’s work, each one a piece of someone’s consciousness and voice. She feels that all of these stories subtly reframe the way she sees her own writing and the world. Outside of the Writing Center, she is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Literary Magazine and previously led Asian-ish, a club for mixed-race Asian students. She loves creative writing and aspires to become a novelist-professor. In her free time, she enjoys long walks and expensive small pastries.
