Kim in an Administrative Assistant supporting the Teaching Deveolpment and Initiatives team, and Communications. She joined Yale in 2007 starting as a lab assistant in Epidemiology and Public Health then transitioned to Central Campus before joining the Poorvu Center in 2019
Before Yale, Kim went to UMass Dartmouth and earned her BFA in textiles. She continued studying textiles for another year at the Scuola Lorenzo de’Medici in Florence, Italy, then worked in the industry for 15 years after. In 2023 Kim received her Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University.
Outside of Yale Kim hikes with her dog, is a volunteer at the CT Forest & Parks Association, and a member of the CT Horticultural Society. She also enjoys sailing and art.
