Mamta Agarwal is the Program Coordinator for the Business Office team at the Poorvu Center, currently supporting the Undergraduate Writing & Tutoring, Office of Educational Opportunity, and Educational Technology and Media teams at Yale University. Since joining Yale in 2020, Mamta has played a pivotal role in supporting undergraduate students by creating opportunities for academic growth. She manages the logistics for organizing and executing events, ensuring that each one is successful and achieves its intended outcomes. Above all, the meaningful interactions she has with students are the highlight of her work, as she is deeply committed to helping them succeed.

Prior to her tenure at Yale, Mamta worked at the Community Renewal Team, where she developed assessment tools for various state and federal welfare programs. Her work focused on evaluating the effectiveness of these programs in promoting lasting social change. Mamta holds a Masterís degree in Nonprofit Management from New School University in New York and a Masterís in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan Institute in Mumbai. With extensive experience in childcare and protection, she has dedicated much of her career to supporting vulnerable communities.

Outside of her professional life, Mamta is an avid traveler with a passion for connecting with local communities wherever she goes. She enjoys immersing herself in new cultures, enriching her experiences, and broadening her perspective along the way.
