Meg OíBrien is the Director of Finance and Administration at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. Her team oversees and supports all the operational and financial functions of the Poorvu Center allowing for the programmatic work of all of the various teams within the Center to achieve their goals and support the mission of the Poorvu Center. Meg has been at Yale since 1994.
Prior to coming to the Poorvu Center in 2015, Meg worked for as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Office of Financial Planning and Analysis, working with Schools and Units across the University on their Operating and Capital budgets; as well as playing a key role in the University’s long-range planning and forecasting process. Prior to her role in Finance, Meg spent 15 years in the University’s Office of Development serving as a Senior Informational Analyst. In that capacity, Meg supported the fundraising efforts of the University through in-depth reporting and analysis. Meg enjoys playing a key role in supporting the work of the Poorvu Center. Meg has a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
