Molly Blondell (she/her) is a barrel-aged PhD student at the Yale School of the Environment and a McDougal Graduate Teaching Fellow for the Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. She is deeply committed to embedding foundations of equity and justice within the classroom and supporting instructors in sustaining an accessible learning environment for their students.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s School for Environment and Sustainability (M.S. ‘20) and the University of Chicago (A.B. ‘15). An environmental justice practitioner, her doctoral research is largely concentrated on the environmental and human health impacts of policing and incarceration in the United States.
Outside of her research and work, she is an avid runner and a Judge for the University of Chicago Scavenger Hunt.
