Taryn is a 6th year PhD candidate in the department of music. She researches nineteenth-century Italian ballet and asks how composers negotiated shifting ideas of modernity and mobility, with musical scores as her primary archival material. She has an MA from the University of Toronto and BMus from Brandon University. Taryn loves to work with students from all disciplines on clarity and structure in their writing projects, and is always encouraging positive, sustainable writing habits.
