Oliver Lucier is a PhD candidate in the Program in the History of Science and Medicine. His research focuses on how the science of plant-climate relations revolutionized land use management over the twentieth century. He graduated from Rice University with a BS in Earth Science and a BA in History and he holds a MA in Geography from Durham University. He is very excited to help graduate students hone their teaching skills, especially when it comes to designing engaging lectures and fostering an inclusive teaching environment.
