The Student Advisory Board aims to assess the impact of Poorvu Center programming, gather advice for future programs and initiatives, and engage students with their ideas for the Center. Composed of students with a diverse range of interests from Yale College and the graduate and professional schools, board members reflect on their own experiences to support programming as well as liaison between the student body and Poorvu Center staff. Membership helps students enhance leadership skills, build interdisciplinary connections, and contribute to the teaching and learning mission at Yale.
The Advisory Board is led by staff members of the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, and the following students are members of the Board for the 2025-26 academic year. Contact co-leaders of the board Devon Barker and Amanda Valdespino for more information.
