Yale Center for Teaching and Learning

Individual Events: Workshops and Discussions

We have several event series that faculty may join as single events throughout the semester, including:

Educational Technology Workshops

Educational Technology Workshops provide an opportunity for instructors to think about intentional uses of educational technology, particularly in support of accessible and inclusive teaching. The Educational Technology team supports and owns Canvas @ Yale as the primay Learning Management System (LMS), as well as multiple external applications to support teaching.

Teaching and Learning Discussions

Teaching and Learning Discussions are informal, interactive conversations about interdisciplinary teaching topics. Featured faculty initiate the discussion by sharing their own practices, and participants contribute with their own questions, challenges, and variations on these practices.

Technology-Enhanced Academics Talks

Technology-Enhanced Academics Talks (or TEA Talks) start with short talks from instructors sharing their experiences using educational technologies to support their pedagogical goals, followed by a discussion of those approaches and technologies.

Please see below for detailed information and registration links for upcoming discussions and workshops.
