Canvas 101: A Foundational Series for Canvas @ Yale
Whether you're new to Canvas or looking to refresh your foundational skills, this five-part series is designed to support instructors, instructional support staff, and academic leaders in building confidence and competence with Canvas tools. Each session offers hands-on guidance, practical strategies, and opportunities to explore features that enhance teaching and learning.

Session 3: Gradebook Essentials – Setup, Tips and Troubleshooting
Explore grading workflows, grade posting policies, and analytics. This session will help you streamline your grading process and troubleshoot common Gradebook challenges.
Session 4: Quizzes in Canvas – Classic vs New: What You Need to Know
Compare the features of Classic and New Quizzes. Learn how to build assessments and choose the right quiz engine for your course needs.
Session 5: Working Together in Canvas – Empowering Student Collaboration with Groups
Discover how to set up and manage Canvas Groups to foster meaningful student collaboration. Learn strategies for promoting peer interaction and teamwork.
