Resources at Yale

There are a variety of resources available at Yale to support instructors in their teaching and learning efforts. Highlighted in this section are several that may be of note to both new and experienced instructors.

Experiential learning is a holistic learning model based on an integrative process where students first obtain knowledge, then perform an activity (generally with some “real-world” application), and finally reflect on the experience, often iteratively. Studies show that experiences of greater depth and breadth, including repeat experiences of progressive challenge, prove especially fruitful for student learning and skills growth.
